At Gama, we develop deorbiting sails that help satellite operators comply with new regulations and contribute to preserving the orbital environment. These ultra-light drag sails are at the core of our solutions and complement our work on solar sails.

We are a passionate, demanding, and collaborative team where everyone can have a direct impact on the technology we develop. To support our ambitions, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join the Structure, Mechanism & Sail team, with a focus on Sail Design & Manufacturing.


Your Missions

🎯 Your main objective: develop the first prototype of a material inspection bench for our deorbiting sails

The ultra-thin films used in our sails may present micro-defects that must be detected before manufacturing.

Your goal will be to design, test, and iterate on a first functional version of a simple, reliable, and scalable inspection tool. A concrete, multidisciplinary project with strong impact on the final quality of the sails.

You will have real ownership over your prototype, while being supported by the team.
